The GeogIT has been designed to support both specialist and
non-specilaist teachers. It is presented as a partially completed
Word document for students but a separate file exists for teachers
which includes suggested responses. This facilitates a moderated
approach to marking across the department.
The GeogIT can be used as a template. If a copy is made, teachers
can modify the content to meet the specific needs of different
learners. The new version can then be networked. Teachers employed by
the purchasing school can make amendments to the format for sharing
within the department. It remains the property of the school and must
not be sent elsewhere.
