The GeogIT can be used for whole class teaching as it has IWB application. The revised GeogITs have starters and plenaries to generate lively debate and exercise thinking.
In addition, the Thinking Stills section on this website will host some thought provoking images that can be considered during lesson time.
Teachers can demonstrate a range of ICT activities using the GeogIT. For example, showing how to complie a climate graph in Excel from current data accessed via the Internet so that pupils can then complete their own climate graphs via the Intranet / Extranet for homework.
