It is always a privilege meeting teachers in their own classroom
and generally speaking I visit around 100 schools a term to demonstrate
the GeogIT. My travels around the country take me to a diverse range of
schools and I find myself in a number of intriguing situations with
some terrific geography teachers.
I am always happy to get
involved in team teaching (I'm a qualified teacher and have been Police
Checked). I have contributed to a number of department meetings and can
offer support with small group action planning. ASTs have invited
me to attend their cluster group meetings and this provides a great
opportunity for meeting teachers and networking. This level of activity
is usually linked to demonstrating the GeogIT, showing how existing
software can be linked to superb, freely available, internet resources.
In addition, I am available for INSET and workshops. My
fees are £50 per hour plus expenses and an initial call out charge.

Attendance
at regional and national conferences is also a feature of my work and I
have been an exhibitor at the Geographical Association Conference since
2001. The pitch for Derby 2007 has been booked!
