The GeogIT

.. is a discrete 40-minute interactive web based   learning  activity.

'2009 GeogIT'

First introduced at the Geographical Association Conference in Manchester 2002, the GeogIT returns for its 8th consecutive appearance proving its value as a flexible, user friendly, IT resource with excellent geographical content.

Unlike some other IT resources, it has adapted itself to meet the changing needs of learners and teachers. It has found its niche within the VLE and is now accessed by students in over 600 schools nationwide promoting their independent learning.

Geography departments using the GeogIT are being the first to populate the VLE . Often described as "an electronic worksheet with webisites embedded within", the GeogIT takes students directly where they need to be within the World Wide Web and structures their learning through a variety of interactive activities.

GeogIT Stick

GeogITs are sold on 'GeogIT Sticks' (Flash Drives) making the resource even more accessible to Geography teachers.
